BOUNTY HUNTERS | PIP MAGAZINE
Bounty Hunters: Self-Reliance in Suburbia is a documentary series commissioned by Pip Magazine, centred on Polona and Nathanael Hunter and their sons, Tayan and Banjo, at their home in Bullaburra in the Blue Mountains. Set at Sunnyside Up Farm, the series captures a family who have shaped their suburban property into a working model of self-reliance through gardening, harvesting, animal care, and everyday ritual. Grounded in observation and natural light, the work reflects on resourcefulness, resilience, and connection to place. The series was created in collaboration with journalist Jacqueline Forster, whose article accompanies and expands on the story.
